Things to remember when you are a Beginner in Photoshop


 1. Watch Tutorials!

           When you are just starting your new venture in photoshop always remember to watch plenty of tutorials to get the hang of it.At the beginning ,getting to know the features and tools and what Photoshop is capable of can be a hard time.Especially when you know nothing of it.But with adequate passion, you can go to YouTube and start searching whatever you want to learn.But I would recommend watching Logo Design tutorials as I reckon its the perfect way to start off in Photoshop.It is very suitable due to the fact that its easy and only requires minimal effort for a start.Also its important to notice that there are certain YouTube channels that teach beginners,intermediate level and professional level designers as well.So when we are starting its essential to choose the channels that fit you.Refrain from watching advanced design tutorials as it will only make you get weary about it,So save them for later when you get some experience with Photoshop

2.Never hesitate to Google what you don't know

           Working with Photoshop can be hard sometimes.Especially when you are a beginner.You might come across situation where you want a specific design and you don't know how to do it.In these types of situations never hesitate to google it.You will defnitely find the answer to your mystery.As a designer myself  I've learned many things by doing so.Furthermore, there are possibilities that you might come across Bugs and Glitches which you might not be able to solve.So google it out !

3.Do not over complicate things

            Some beginner Designers try to go beyond their leagues and try things that they are not capable of.When you are a beginner you might not know a lot of thing in Photoshops.Thus, when you try complicated Manipulations it comes out as an ugly and clumsy Design.Do not attempt these when you are just starting off.Do designs that you are comfortable with.For example : Changing Background of an Image, Masking Subjects, Placing Text behind Objects, Logo Designs are perfect for a start.This is how I learnt.I've seen many Beginners attempt complicated designs and fail at them.Dont't rush it.Learning to Design can be a tough process.So go through it in a pace that you are comfy with.Otherwise, you will be tired with designing in no time.

4.Take your own time

            The Designing process must be smooth.When you rush to finish your design the curves wont be smooth rather it turns rough and leaves you with a dissappointed output.In order to avoid this, you must take your own time to finish your design.Do not finish the design for the sake of finishing it.Experiment with it.Change things until you feel satisfied with your output.Until then, do not rush to finish it.I've often taken weeks to finish some designs.You'll learn to be more efficient and productive along the way.So do not worry about time.Always remember that practice makes things perfect!

5.Accpet Criticism

            What your mind perceives can be different from others' perspective.Which results in a difference of opinion in your design.You might like it, but some might be able to find flaws and mistakes in your design.Hence, always make you sure that you ask others opinions on your design and accept them and try to improve it.Plus it is also worth mentioning that you should find designers like you.Find communities on Social Media and join them, interact with them, share your designs, observe others works and be inspired by them
